So, I decided that I would make myself a handy blog. I already have a Tumblr and a LiveJournal, but this seems more appropriate for my needs. Plus it's much simpler. And I would like some sort of online person journal that other people can read and laugh at.
Today was moderately boring. Due to my girlfriend's lack of working phone battery, I basically had nothing to do in school. Normal I would sit on my school-provided laptop and Tumble and Tweet or watch downloaded shows/movies but for some reason I didn't. Ever since Tumblr was blocked by the school's tech people (I blame the stupid freshman who don't even use Tumblr right) school has been a drag. I try to force myself to write, but I always end up distracted by something. Today I got distracted by my friend Dorthea who had misplaced her laptop. She came up to me in the library and did some weird thing to my hair to get my attention then asked to use my computer. I gladly let her. She told me how she didn't have her computer and needed to look for it. I offered to help.
Dorthea and I were all: "Oooh! Let's go on an adventure! An adventure to find the missing laptop!! *excited flail*." However, the adventure was not what we were expecting and it turned out to be terribly anticlimactic. We need to first go to room 234, which turned out to be literally right next to the library. Looking for some teacher I've never heard of and seems to have no purpose in the school, we strolled in and asked for said teacher. This is the response we got: "*blink* Mrs. Freedman doesn't work in her because she's allergic to the room so you should email her." I stared at the teacher in amusement and Dorthea nodded and turned to leave like a normal person. I followed her out, wondering how someone could be allergic to a room, and pointed out that the room smelled like cookies. It did.
The next part of our Awesome Adventure! was to email Mrs. Freedman. We trudged back into the library, found her email, and Dorthea emailed her. Exciting, right? Not really.
She got an email response about 10 minutes later saying that the laptop was in the tech office which is right next to the classroom we had to go to before. So I stayed in the library like a lazy ass while Dorthea got her laptop. It was disappointing.
Anyway, there's really not much point to that story besides the fact that the teacher being allergic to the room amused me. But the rest of my boring day I was forced to actually interact with my friends instead of being absorbed in my computer.
Also, I had my first Photography class today. We had to edit a picture of ourselves in Photoshop. Since I know Photoshop well, it took me 5 minutes then I went and read Hyperbole and a Half.
